Colourpuncture (also Colorpuncture) is a complementary therapy based on Acupuncture and using light and colours as the medium instead of needles. Colourpuncture as a therapy was born when Peter Mandel, the founder of Esogetic Medicine, discovered that the acupuncture points of human skin are colour sensitive and colour receptive. Colourpuncture involves applying the focused light of different colours onto certain points and areas on the skin using a specially designed Colourpuncture light set.
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese science and art of understanding of bio-energy of human body. It is based on the idea that all the organs in the body are interconnected through energy pathways called meridians. Points of entry into these pathways are called acupuncture points or acupoints and are located on the skin. Meridians carry energy called “chi” and information between the organs of the body. Organs are related to certain seasons, elements and emotions. Acupuncture states that the energy flow in the body, and so the experience of pain or well-being physically and emotionally, could be altered by inserting very fine needles into the acupoints and therefore altering the energy to the organs connected with that particular meridian. Acupuncture is now practiced both worldwide and in the UK and is becoming widely recognized by official medicine.
Esogetic Medicine is a new system of complementary medicine, developed by Peter Mandel, German researcher and naturopath, which includes Esogetic Colourpuncture, Kirlian Photography and related therapies. Esogetic medicine was developed as a synthesis between the more scientific and materialistic approach of Western medicine, and the more intuitive and practice-based approach of Eastern Medicine, on the understanding of how the human body works.
“Esogetic” is the name that Peter Mandel created to describe the basis of his background work with light and colours. It combines the words “esoteric” and “energetic”.
Kirlian Photograpy or Energy Emission Analysis is the main diagnostic tool of Esogetic Medicine. It is based on the original research of a Soviet scientist, Semjon Kirlian, who created a technique to capture the bioenergetic emission of the hands and feet on photographic paper. Peter Mandel significantly developed and improved the original invention and created a map of topographic representation of organs and parts of human body on a Kirlian photo picture. Organ topography was established according to the Chinese meridian theory and the work of the electroacupuncturist Dr. Voll. Today energy emissions of hands and feet are photographed in a harmless high-frequency field and the Esogetic Kirlian machine has a safety certificate from CE. Kirlian photograpy, being the main diagnostic tool for therapists of Esogetic Colourpuncture, is also being used by therapists of other disciplines for diagnostic purposes and also to assess the effectiveness of a certain treatment or therapy. The Esogetic system of diagnosis is the most researched, detailed and widely accepted system of photography based on the Kirlian effect to date.
Colourpuncture light set (for point treatment)
One of the main tools of Esogetic Medicine developed by Peter Mandel and used to direct light into the body via the acupuncture points and other zones on the skin. It is a simple hand-held pen torch designed to be used with changeble glass rods of different colours: spectral, soul-spirit and greys. All glass rods have pointed tips which helps to focus light directly onto acupucture and other points used in Colourpuncture treatments.
Colourpuncture light set (for surface treatment) is a flat focused set with has changable caps of different colours – all spectral colours – instead of pointed tips. Flat focused light set is used for irradiating larger areas of the skin, for example in dream therapy. Both Colourpuncture light sets have safety certificates from CE.
Spectral colours are the colours of the visible part of the colour spectrum – the colours of the rainbow – red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. Peter Mandel also refers the colour ‘dark turquoise’ to spectral colours.
Soul-spirit colours are paler, lighter colours and include light turquoise, light green, crimson and rose.
Grey colours used in Esogetic Colourpuncture are light grey, medium grey and dark grey.
Crystal-puncture is a new therapy of Esogetic Medicine which uses miniature crystal tatoos for easy, non-invasive point application as a therapeutic media instead of needles. Crystal-puncture can be used on many areas and points on the body and is especially effective for pain relief.
